CARP Staff
The Executive Director, Monik Richard, oversees the day-to-day operations of CARP. She was appointed as Executive Director in 2010. Mrs. Richard has an undergraduate degree in environmental sciences, a diploma in environmental technology and is currently undertaking graduate studies in conservation biology at Acadia University. She has extensive experience in conservation biology, environmental remediation, environmental legislation and ecological field work.

The Administration Manager, Susan Lane is responsible for the accounting systems and the extensive computer system as well as the overall management of office affairs. Operating funds are obtained from a host of private and public sector agencies, other non-governmental organizations, national and international foundations and universities. In addition, the group receives in-kind support equivalent to four times its cash budget. Individuals, universities, corporations, community groups, high schools, research institutions, government agencies and a host of other supporters contribute this.

Manager of Project Delivery, Levi Cliche. Levi joined CARP in 1998 as a summer student then full-time in 2001. He holds two diplomas as a Fish and Wildlife Technician and in Fish and Wildlife Technology from Fleming College's School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences. Levi has worked on a wide variety of projects including fish habitat and riparian zone restoration, energy conservation and greenhouse gas emission reduction, pollution prevention and a wide variety of ecological sampling and monitoring programs. As CARP's manager of program Delivery, he is currently responsible for the day-to-day management of the design, development and implementation of CARP's programs. Levi is an avid fisherman and outdoors enthusiast.

Project Leaders and Teams

Project leaders oversee each project and ensure its completion. Each project has a team made up of technical and non-technical individuals who have an interest in a particular issue. Project teams are charged with the final design, implementation and evaluation of the project.
