10 am- 12 pm, Solar Nova Scotia

"Demystifying solar electricity for Nova Scotia Homes" 

Have you been wondering if solar is right for you? Stuck on how to get started? This session will include everything from reasons to go solar, to designs/set-up. Questions and discussion encouraged. 



12:30- 1:30 pm, Eddie and the Air Out There, Clean Foundation

Eddie is a loveable cat (puppet) and environmental superhero that is standing up for all the critters of the world and the environment they live in.  Through humour, rhymes and song, children learn the importance of energy and its conservation. Developed for grades P-5



1:30-2:15 PM, Efficiency Nova Scotia Home & Business Programs

Learn about the residential and business programs that can help you be more energy efficient. This includes free assessment programs and rebate opportunities. 



2:30-3:30, Jérémie Bernardin, Energy Resiliency - The Future of Electric Vehicles

Everything you need to know about electric vehicles in Nova Scotia. From the effects on the environment to your bank account and everything in between.



Next Ride, Clean Foundation

Learn about the personal and societal benefits of owning an Electric Vehicle and test drive a fully-electric car (2019 Chevrolet Bolt) and a plug-in hybrid SUV (2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV)!

Pilikan House, Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology (ESET) program

Learn about  technology and design features used at the Pilikan Demonstration House, located at the Middleton NSCC campus.

10:00 am- 4 pm, Renewable energy exploration for youth, Drop-in @ Innovation Lab

Learn about renewable energy technologies using model technology including a solar panel, wind turbine, electrolyzer and hydrogen fuel cell, and a multi-energy powered car

12:20-1:30 pm, Check out  "Eddie and the Air Out There" under the presentation schedule
