About the event

Whether you are a teacher, youth leader, homeschool parent or just love learning, we welcome you to join us for a classroom session to explore samples of our curriculum-based lesson plans and activity guides, inspired by our current wetland restoration project in the Town of Middleton. These lessons are designed to allow students to get hands-on with nature, and learn why our wetlands are so important. Participants will be provided with copies of lesson plans and supporting materials. Program leader Lacey Lescaudron will share her extensive experience in environmental education and passion for the natural world.

This session will take place outdoors at our ongoing wetland restoration project site. Please dress for the weather, including footwear that can be used in and around muddy wetland habitats. There is no washroom or indoor facilities on site.

This event is FREE and open to any age 14+
