About the event
Come shake off those mid-winter blues, and join us in celebrating World Wetland Day with a family-friendly guided snowshoe. This walk will be guided by guest ecologist, Paul Lalonde.
The walk will take place at a site where we are currently completing a wetland restoration and recreational trail development project in partnership with the Town of Middleton. The trail is easy to navigate, and approximately 1 km in length. The event is appropriate for individuals with little or no previous snowshoeing experience.
Free snowshoe loans are available. Please be sure to indicate if you need to borrow a pair when you complete your online registration form. In the event that there is no snow, the walk will take place as a normal walk, as long as the trail is firm enough.
